ALL-STARS ~ Tina Wesson was the last one
standing in Australia, but the first to go
during S8. With a million-dollar
target on her back she scarcely had a chance
and knew it. We must say she didn't
look a day older, and in her own words
merely added another round of life
experiences to her already bountiful stash!

Tina Wesson surprised everyone except
herself by winning Survivor 2's
million dollar bounty. After
watching the first few episodes not many
gave her much of a chance to last into the
middle rounds, let alone grit her way to
the finish.
Not that she
didn't have it in her ~ speaking in broad
terms, trained nurses can just about
accomplish anything they set their minds
to. But there are also elements of
luck involved, not to mention human
interplay and alliance building, and Tina
appeared aimless and plan-less as the trio
of Jerri, Amber, & Colby grabbed the
early reins and appeared
unstoppable. But with stealth-like
precision, Tina deflated the trio's
balloon and forced a shift of allegiances
that left her controlling a new alliance
that ultimately succeeded in reaching the
final three.
When Tina was
declared the winner of Survivor 2,
she handed her husband the big check with
all those zeroes on it, and set off on a
whirlwind of appearances that
included not only the obligatory radio
& television interviews, but an
advertising campaign for the milk
producers of America, a campaign that
somehow suits the most famous nurse of our
generation. |
