Here at SurvivorFoxes.com we found Tijuana Bradley of
Survivor 7 Pearl Islands
to be all of the following and more:
sweet, pretty, pleasant, kind, gentle,
generous, even angelic. And in terms
of surviving on Survivor, that was
exactly the problem. In the game of
life, possessing such character traits is
the ultimate goal, is an end unto itself. But in the game of scheming to form backroom alliances,
it's a very simple postulate: soft & gentle loses every time. Case in point:
Miss Bradley was ousted during the same episode
that another tribe member told a whopping
lie about
a death in his family back home.
Perhaps the bigger surprise is that Tijuana lasted as
long as she did, hanging on for 30 days,
reaching the merge, and serving on the jury
that chose S7's big winner. No, the
former college cheerleader and current Big
Brother/Big Sister advocate didn't return
from Panama with a million dollars in her
pocket. But
she earned something arguably more precious,
namely the respect of her fellow castaways,
not to mention the admiration of millions of
viewers who watched her comport herself with
a class & dignity all her own.
