Janet Koth traveled a long way from
Missouri, the Show-Me State, to be a part of
Survivor 6 Amazon. By her own
admission she didn't adapt well to the
jungle, and was perhaps more relieved than
disappointed when her tribemates Showed-Her
the hut door.
To veteran Survivor fans, her ouster had a
supernatural element attached to it. For as if
the Brazilian wilds weren't harsh enough by
themselves,
she was haunted by the ghost of S2's Kel
Gleason, which manifested itself in the form of a smuggled granola
bar. And like Kel before her, Janet
protested her innocence even in the face of
eyewitness testimony ~ 4 votes later at
Tribal Council, and poof she was gone.
Yet Janet's
parting words were classic in acknowledging
that the Survivor experience was far,
far more challenging than she had expected.
Said she, "For all of you middle-aged women
out there who are thinking of having a
mid-life crisis, I would highly suggest a
change of hairstyle." Touché Janet!
